If you have dry skin and want to keep things matte, Studio Fix Sculpt Foundation (P2,150) is a gel-type formula that dries to a powder finish.Īfter using Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup in Ecru for the past six months, I have recently strayed and I'm now using MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15. If you're oily-skinned but prefer a liquid foundation, you can go for Studio Fix Fluid (P1,900) and just set it with a finishing powder like Mineralize Skinfinish Natural (P1,800). Revlon Colorstay vs MAC Studio Fix Fluid Ivory: NW15/NC15 (lightest shade of the ranges) Buff: NC20 (yellow undertone) Sand Beige: NC20-25 (with somewhat neutral undertones) Nude: NC25 (with peachy undertones, definitely not for pinks or true goldens) Natural Beige: NW20 (tends to run pink) Medium Beige: NC27 (between Sand Beige & Golden Beige). Hello beauties check-out my MAC Studio Fix Fluid vs Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup Review! Side by side it doesn't look that much different- I was too tired to try out C35 and just got NC35 but should I really have gotten C35 instead and not listen to the MA and trust my instinct? OK here's the question- if she originally matched me up with C4- is it that much different than C35? I thought C35 would have been a better match since it seems like the NC line doesn't have enough yellow or is C35 much more 'Olive' than C4?
Then I wanted to try out C35- she says this is too olive-green toned for me and NC35 would be better since she thinks I have more of a golden beige skin tone ( plus it was the color I used in the past- pretty good match but not enough yellow for me. Did the same thing but upon application the tone was off not enough yellow. Then I tried NC40- she says it's more beige than C line.
She matched me with Studio Fix Powder in C4- on application it looked good but it did shift a bit and turned orange. For highlight and shimmer I used Bobbi brown Shimmer Brick using MAC 168 brush.OK I finally got officially foundation matched by a MAC MA the other day. To contour I used Terracotta bronzing powder using Bobbi brown bronzer brush. Then used my ultimate favorite eyeliner Penultimate eyeliner in Rapidblack & finally applied my new favorite mascara Limited edition MAC Opulash Optimum Black mascara.Ĭollection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer The Eye shadows I used were by MAC Nylon and Tempting applied each using Bobbi brown Eyeshadow brush then blended them using MAC 217 brush. For the eyes, I used urban decay eyeshadow primer potion. then fill my eyebrows with Bobbi brown eyeshadow in the color Rich brown 11 using Bobbi Brown eyebrow brush.
Because I used fake tan on my body my face need to be tanned as well, A spray of Soap & Glory Glow GetterĪfterwards, I use collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer under the peek of my eyebrows. then to brighten up my eyes I apply a teeny bit of YSL radiant touch in the corner of my eyes. After I’m done with the foundation I would blend some more using MAC 130SE brush. If you’re a mac user you would know that sometimes their foundation could get a bit to yellowyy and this is why I love mixing it with a lighter foundation to get the perfect coverage. anyway I fell off subject there, for the perfect foundation I like to mix MAC studio Fix nc25 with Chanel Mat Lumiere 20 on my heart paw palette using MAC 190 brush. Now with all the fun not colorless stuff, first I would apply concealer on any blemishes or scars and also under my eyes, I recently purchased Chanel correction perfection concealer, I really like it however I still do believe nothing can top up my previous Cargo concealer that I’ve previously mentioned I’m really upset we no longer have it at Sephore, I don’t understand why every time I get hooked on something they shut it down, it seems that I jinx products *sorry producers*. Moving on to the next step, I start by using MAC prep+prime to help increase the lifetime of my makeup. However, there is an issue with this product if you start applying your concealer immediately after you applied it, your makeup is going to look greasy and flaky and all kind of things that you don’t want to see, you HAVE to wait at least 15 minutes before starting up with your makeup same goes with moisturizer. I have this issue where I feel that every time I apply concealer my under eye area gets darker and darker, and concealer is not something I’m willing to let go of, so I got this product for the purpose of using it as concealer base. The second thing I would do is apply Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye cream which is the perfect base for concealer. Before I start with my makeup, I have to fix some issues with my skin, if it’s one of those days where its unbelievably dehydrated, I would use Liz Earle moisturizer.
